College of DuPage is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Culinary - Baking/Pastry. Instructors will plan courses, teach in classroom or lab settings, and evaluate students. Courses may be face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended.
A pre-employment background check is required. This is an adjunct, stipend-based appointment. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in the content area, 5 years of pastry chef/chef experience, and a Food Service Manager's License.

Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online is required.
These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
A pre-employment background check at the College's expense is required.
