Job summary

Baton Rouge Community College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Criminal Justice within the Division of Business and Law. This part-time role includes teaching courses at various times, including evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in criminal justice or similar, or have substantial experience in law enforcement or corrections. Candidates are expected to contribute to a collaborative work environment focused on student success.

Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice in the Division of Business and Law. This is a part‑time position and is open for recruitment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching courses as assigned, including evenings and weekends, online and dual enrollment courses.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education

• Master's degree in criminal justice or master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in criminal justice.
• Or master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 15 years practical work experience in law enforcement, courts or corrections.
• Or a Juris Doctorate with 5 years of experience in criminal law.

Preferred Experience

• College Level Teaching Experience.
