Candidates should demonstrate a mastery of their specific discipline, a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence, technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies, use of resources that prepare students for productive lives, and experience using various educational technological mediums.

Qualifications

• Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and three or more years of professional experience are required, or Master of Arts with 18 graduate credit hours in Graphic Design.
• Teaching familiarity with the Adobe Design Suite of products is a must.
• High level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching.
• Experience working with under‑prepared students to achieve academic success.
• All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.
