Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years related to written content creation for entertainment media such as film, television/web series, comics, video games, or other published writing.
• Must hold a terminal or Master's degree in Creative Writing, English, or writing- or communications-related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills, maintain student-centered focus, and stay current with industry standards.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning.
• Perform lectures for campus courses, and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses.

Coursework is focused on the creation of stories in script and prose, articulating one’s brand as a writer, and practical business considerations of writers-for-hire.This position is part time working no more than 20 hours per week, on-campus OR online and must be resident in the state of Florida.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills, maintain student-centered focus, and stay current with relevant industry standards.Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning.Perform lectures for campus courses, and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses.
