Job summary

Delgado Community College in New Orleans seeks an adjunct instructor in the Technical department of Academic Affairs. You will prepare and deliver course lectures, hold 30-minute office hours weekly, and prepare and grade examinations, while maintaining student records and participating in evaluations.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalency, at least three years as a licensed cosmetologist, and a valid Louisiana Board of Cosmetology Instructor License.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years’ work experience as a licensed cosmetologist.
• Valid Louisiana Board of Cosmetology Instructor License is required.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Complete all required employee training/professional development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide course or laboratory lectures.
