Adjunct Faculty – Computer Animation and Game Arts
Full Sail University currently has openings for part‑time Adjunct Faculty in the Computer Animation and Game Arts programs. The position requires a maximum of 20 hours per week and may be taught on‑campus or online, and the instructor must be a resident of the state of Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills, maintain a student‑centered focus, and stay current with relevant industry standards.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning.
- Perform lectures for campus courses and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses.
- Deliver instruction through both on‑campus and online delivery.
- Interact positively with diverse student populations and provide all students with equal opportunities for learning.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the industry and maintain knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education as defined in the faculty development plan.

Education and Experience
Minimum of four (4) years of related and verifiable work experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation, Interactive Design, Game Art, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Skills
- Proficiency using software programs such as Autodesk Maya, Pixologic ZBrush, Adobe Photoshop, and Substance Painter.
- Expertise in modeling vehicles and environments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Work experience in developing the design of a released digital or analog game.
Environmental Factors / Physical Demands
- Work performed in an office and classroom environment.
- Regular requirement to maintain active student and employee communication and to use a computer system.
- May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
