Job summary

East Texas A&M University seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach online competency-based education (CBE) courses for the M.Ed. Instructional Design program.

The role covers three 3-credit-hour courses per 7-week term and requires responsiveness to student inquiries and adherence to the department syllabus. The candidate should hold a terminal degree or a master’s in instructional design with related terminal degree and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Terminal degree in instructional design or a closely related field with 18 hours in field/subject area, or a Master’s degree in instructional design with terminal degree in a closely related field.
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Adjunct Faculty refers to an educator hired to teach on a course-by-course basis throughout an academic year.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in the fully online competency-based education (CBE) format supporting the CBE Orientation Courses.
