Hopkinsville Community College invites applications for our part-time Carpentry adjunct faculty pool. These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies when regular full-time faculty are not available due to increased enrollment, workload, or scheduling: days, evenings, weekends, and/or online.

The position is a hybrid role based at Hopkinsville Community College, with instruction in carpentry fundamentals and applied practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a qualifying field (Construction, Construction Management, Carpentry) or an associate's degree with demonstrated competencies in a qualifying field.

Responsibilities

• Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials.
• Provides instruction to students in theory and practice in the area of instruction.
• Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment and progress.
• Maintains classroom order and discipline.
