This is a part‑time position teaching lecture and laboratory sections during the 2026-2027 academic year at Virginia Wesleyan University (soon to be Batten University).

The courses include:

• BIO 100 Introductory Biology for nonmajors
• BIO 201 Microbiology for Health Sciences
• BIO 221 Human Anatomy and Physiology I
• BIO 222 Human Anatomy and Physiology II

Geographic location: Virginia Beach, VA, United States.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare syllabi that meet VWU syllabus guidelines and provide them to students on the first day of class; also provide syllabi to department chairs.
• Be on time, prepared for class, grade, provide feedback, and return assignments within a reasonable time period.
• Communicate with students via office hours and email.
• Submit mid‑term reports, final grades, and C‑reports per guidelines provided by the University Registrar.
• Comply with FERPA regulations.
• Coordinate with campus support services as needed to support students.
