Job summary

Education Requirements :

Experience Requirements

The equivalent of one (1) year’s full-time, non-teaching workexperience (2000 hrs.) in the field.

Preferred Experience

Exceptional applicants will meet one or more of the followingpreferred qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in aviation management or relateddiscipline.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Career and Technical Programs provide programs of study thatinvolve a multiyear sequence of courses that integrate coreacademic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge toprovide students with a pathway to postsecondary education andcareers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adjunct faculty may be assigned a maximum workload of 24 contacthours or equivalent per academic year (i.e., fall and springsemesters). Classes within the program are offered in daytime,evening, and/or online modalities based on student demand.
  • Deliver course content that aligns with the college’s curriculumstandards and student learning outcomes.
  • Develop course syllabi, assignments, and assessments that reflectcurrent industry practices and ensure course outcomes aremet.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment thataccommodates diverse learning styles and promotes studentsuccess.
  • Use technology and other resources to enhance course delivery andstudent engagement, including online, hybrid, or face-to-facemodalities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student’s progress and grades.
  • Must adhere to mid-term verification and final grade postingdeadlines.
  • Adhere to institutional policies and procedures, including thoserelated to academic integrity and accessibility.
