Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a dedicated faculty member to create a dynamic teaching environment for students. Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses, tutoring, and supporting day, evening, weekend, online, and hybrid instruction.

Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline and demonstrate knowledge of current developments. Prior teaching experience is preferred, alongside strong communication skills for effective instruction.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in the relevant discipline required.
• Doctoral degree and/or specific licensure preferred depending on the discipline.
• Prior college or university teaching experience is preferred.
• Additional job experience can substitute for a Master’s Degree in selected disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Teaching assigned lecture and lab courses.
• Tutoring in learning centers as appropriate.
• Supporting instructional modalities across formats including online and hybrid.

Job Summary

All faculty positions have as their primary objective to create a dynamic teaching/learning environment for our students, while contributing service to the college. Faculty responsibilities include teaching assigned courses and following the course description and course outline established by the department. Teaching schedules may include day/evening/weekend courses and online/hybrid instruction and other instructional modalities. In accordance with the Adjunct Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), additional activities may include participation in departmental initiatives, evidence of academic achievements, recognition by professional and community organizations, and other duties.

Responsibilities

Teaching assigned lecture and/or lab courses, tutoring in learning centers as appropriate, and supporting instructional modalities across day, evening, weekend, online and hybrid formats.

Qualifications – Education

• Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in the relevant discipline is required; a doctoral degree and/or licensure in a specific discipline is preferred and may be required depending on the discipline.

Qualifications – Experience

• Prior college or university teaching experience preferred as evidence of scholarly and/or professional activities.
• Additional job experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree in selected disciplines.
