Job summary

Roseman University of Health Sciences seeks a clinician-educator to lead both clinical and didactic teaching in its dentistry program. The role emphasizes supervision of students during patient and simulation activities, with ongoing assessment of competency and implementation of evidence-based pedagogy.

The candidate will integrate Biomedical Science into instruction and adapt to digital technologies used in the CODM clinics, while ensuring timely licensure in Nevada within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from a CODA-accredited US or Canadian dental school or equivalent.
• Must be eligible for licensure in Nevada and obtain licensure within 3 months of hire.
• Completion of CODA-approved post-doctoral residency in general dentistry (GPR or AEGD) is preferred, with teaching experience at pre-doctoral level.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical teaching in patient/simulation clinics.
• Deliver didactic teaching using Mastery Learning.
• Incorporate Biomedical Science into teaching.
• Oversee patient care in college clinics and supervise students.
