Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach Accounting courses. Adjunct instructors are hired by the Department of Business and the Division of Business and Law on a term-by-term basis as needed. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting or related field, or a Master’s plus 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting or related field.
A Master’s in Accounting is preferred. Passing a pre-employment background screen is required.
Part-time faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned and promotion of a collegial atmosphere. Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Faculty report directly to the department chair within their respective departments and divisions
