We invite applications from individuals with a terminal graduate degree, teaching experience, and familiarity with Brightspace or Canvas to contribute to both traditional and online learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours from an accredited university.
• Teaching experience in traditional and/or online education is desired.
• Experience with Brightspace or Canvas learning management systems is desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in assigned disciplines as adjunct faculty.
• Prepare syllabi, assignments, and assessments aligned with course objectives.
• Deliver engaging in-person and online instruction and provide timely feedback to students.

Meredith College is a women’s institution for first-time traditional women college students, transfer students, adult degree completers, and both male and female graduate students. Built-in comprehensive coaching and advising are provided throughout the undergraduate experience to ensure students are supported and positioned for success.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• To be considered for a position in our applicant pool, applicants are required to possess a graduate (terminal) degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours from an accredited university.
• In addition to the graduate degree, expertise in teaching the subject matter is desired.
• All graduate work must be documented with official transcripts submitted to the university upon request.
• Teaching experience in traditional and/or online education is desired.
• Experience working with either Brightspace or Canvas learning management systems is desired.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet.
