Adjunct Faculty - English Language Studies/Daytime

We are seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach English Language Studies (English as a Second Language) in thedaytime. Positions are expected to be available in the day on the Main Campus in Paterson.

Examples of Duties:

• Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi.
• Meet all scheduled class sessions.
• Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems.
• Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program.
• Utilize the appropriate technology, including Blackboard (the College's student learning platform), to fulfill teaching duties.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in ESL, TESOL, or Applied Linguistics required.
• Experience teaching academic ESL to diverse populations.
• Experience teaching adult learnerspreferably at a community college.

Compensation:

The pay for this position is $996 per credit taught.
