Responsibilities

• Teach freshman composition or technical writing.
• Must be able to teach during the day.
• Must hold office hours and conference with students.

Required Qualifications

• MA in English or related field, or at least 18 completed graduate hours in English (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date).

Preferred Qualifications

• MA in English, Rhetoric, Composition, or Technical Writing is preferred. Related degrees in Fine Arts, English Education, and Reading/Literacy may be considered.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Experience using technology or a strong willingness to engage students through the use of technology is preferred.
