Job summary

Iowa Western Community College Inc is seeking an EMS instructor to deliver all levels of the EMS program courses and to adapt teaching methods across the curriculum. The role includes course instruction and classroom management to ensure student success.

The instructor will be responsible for evaluating student progress, coordinating with clinical sites, and maintaining course materials. Ability to teach at multiple IWCC campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Current State of Iowa license.
• Knowledge of current National EMS Education Standards.
• Pass a background check and have a valid U.S. driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom, laboratory, and clinical EMS sessions.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback.
• Manage materials and supplies for EMS courses.
• Occasionally teach at multiple IWCC sites as needed.

• Assignments may also include teaching at multiple sites during the course, as class may be held at various IWCC campuses.
