Job summary

Lackawanna College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Electrical and Welding to teach courses on a per‑semester basis at our Greensburg campus. The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree and at least 3 years of industry experience in the relevant trades.

Responsibilities include delivering course content, preparing materials, guiding students, and completing required documentation such as grading reports, with support from the Dean as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of industry-specific work experience.
• Experience teaching or training is a plus.
• Ability to teach Electrical or Welding courses.

Adjunct Instructor – Electrical, Welding

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:

Adjunct faculty are part-time faculty hired to teach a specified course/s on a per-semester basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Teaches specified course(s).
• Prepares all course materials.
• Provides support and guidance to students.
• Completes all required documentation, including, but not limited to, reporting grades.
• All other duties as required by the Dean.
