Job Summary / Basic Function

Teach one or more of the following courses: ECE 1400 Fundamentals of Engineering Computing (4), ECE 2260 Fundamentals of Electrical Circuits (4), ECE 2700 Digital Circuits (4) and ECE 2210 Electrical Engineering for Non-Majors (4). Each course is four credit hours and includes a laboratory.


Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Two years of industrial engineering experience.

  • College level teaching experience.

Background Check

Criminal background check is required as a condition of employment.


Physical Requirements


  • Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

  • Operating, activating, using, preparing, inspecting, placing, detecting, or positioning.

  • Grasping; applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm.

  • Expressing or exchanging ideas that require conveying detailed or important instructions to other workers accurately or quickly.

  • Receiving detailed information with or without assistance.


Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or negligible force constantly to move objects.


Use of arm and/or leg controls requiring exertion of forces greater than sedentary work.


Visual Acuity Requirements

Standard vision including color, depth perception and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
