Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated educator to develop and deliver curriculum for middle and high school students across multiple programs. The role emphasizes differentiation to meet diverse learner needs and to support gifted education initiatives.

The position requires collaboration with colleagues, adherence to district policies, and the ability to conduct classes across in-person, online, and hybrid formats. A background check and ongoing compliance training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience teaching, coaching, or volunteering with youth.
• Substantiated subject-matter expertise.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for advanced-level students and students needing additional support.
• Clear background check.
• Competency with Microsoft Outlook and Canvas LMS.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Eligibility to work with secondary and post-secondary students.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and teach classes to middle and high school students.
• Develop and teach assigned subjects and levels in new or existing programs.
• Support youth initiatives focused on intellectual, academic, and social-emotional growth.
• Fulfill administrative requirements and meet deadlines.
• Complete required training including Title IX and Clery Act compliance where applicable.
• Follow College and department policies and procedures.
• Teach in-person, virtual live via Zoom, asynchronous, or hybrid delivery modes.
• Work varied schedules, including days, evenings, and Saturdays.
• Teach at assigned campuses or virtually.
