Job summary

Brigham Young University-Idaho is seeking an adjunct faculty member to instruct and coordinate Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) student experiences in teaching child development labs in Rexburg, Idaho. FCCLA advising experience is preferred and courses are contracted on a semester-by-semester basis.

The candidate should hold a BA/BS in Early Childhood Education and/or FCS Education; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and/or FCS Education required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience teaching or coordinating in early childhood settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coordinate Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) student experiences in teaching child development labs.
• Oversee lab classroom setup and cleanup procedures.
• Grade and provide feedback on lesson plans each semester.
