Job summary

The UNM-Valencia Campus is accepting applications for temporary, part-time faculty to teach Developmental Mathematics (below college level) courses. If online teaching is needed, documented accepted training and/or in-house training would be required.

Positions are contingent upon the need of each semester as determined by student enrollment levels and current course offerings. This is a continuous recruitment beginning in Fall 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mathematics or related field/degree.
• Minimum 24 credit hours in college mathematics and/or mathematics education courses, including a grade of A or B in three semesters of calculus.
• Two years of experience teaching or tutoring in Mathematics or a related field/degree.

Responsibilities

• Teach Developmental Mathematics (below college level) courses.
• Online teaching may be required with documented training.
• Positions contingent on student enrollment and current course offerings.

Education

Bachelor's in Mathematics or related field/degree

24 credit hours in college mathematics and/or mathematics education courses

Two years of experience teaching or tutoring in Mathematics
