Job summary

University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is seeking temporary, part-time adjunct faculty to teach Freshman and Sophomore level Mathematics and Statistics courses. Online teaching is possible with approved training.

Positions are contingent on enrollment and current course offerings for Fall 2026 onward. The Valencia Branch serves over 2,000 students per semester and emphasizes teaching excellence within a Hispanic-Serving Institution.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics or related field with 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics.
• Two years of experience teaching freshman and/or sophomore-level Mathematics courses.
• Ph.D., ABD, or EdD in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Freshman and Sophomore level Mathematics and Statistics courses at UNM-Valencia Campus.
• Provide online instruction if needed, with documented training.
• Assignments contingent upon student enrollment and course offerings each semester.
