Job summary

Kean University in Union, New Jersey is seeking adjunct faculty for undergraduate courses across Advertising, Graphic Design, Industrial Design and Interior Design. Positions are non-tenure track and require a master’s degree with teaching experience; NCIDQ is preferred for Interior Design and an ability to teach both online and in-person is valued.

Adjuncts are paid per credit and may earn more with seniority.

Qualifications

• Adjunct positions are non-tenure track; master’s degree required.
• Teaching experience preferred; ability to teach online may be required.
• Proficiency with a Learning Management System is required, in line with university guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Advertising, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, and Interior Design at the Kean Union campus.
• Provide at least some availability outside of classroom hours each week for the duration of each semester.
• In-person teaching at the Union campus with potential online assignments as needed.
