Job summary

University of North Texas - Dallas invites applications for adjunct instructors in the Counseling and Human Services programs. Beginning Summer 2027, courses across Group Counseling, Family Counseling, Substance Abuse Treatment, and Career Counseling may be taught in multiple formats including face-to-face, hybrid, and online via Canvas.

Ph.D. in Counseling, LPC licensure, and CACREP alignment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited university.
• Active LPC licensure with a minimum of two years of experience, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a multi-cultural campus and diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach master’s-level counseling courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats (Canvas).
• Contribute to the Classroom to Career initiative and experiential learning.
• Support program development and student success in UNT Dallas Counseling program.
