Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication.
• Ability to utilize a variety of instructional methods, including lectures, collaborative activities, individual instruction, distance learning, and technology-enhanced teaching.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development.
• Proficiency with internet, email, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and Learning Management System applications.
• Ability to effectively support and engage a diverse community college student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach COMM 101 courses in accordance with course descriptions and established curriculum.
• Deliver engaging instruction using a variety of teaching methodologies, including lectures, group activities, individual instruction, technology-enhanced learning, and distance education.
• Explore innovative and inclusive instructional approaches that engage students with different backgrounds, experiences, and learning needs.
• Meet scheduled classes promptly and communicate schedule changes through appropriate college channels.
• Maintain established office hours and provide students with appropriate instructional support.
