Job summary

YTI Career Institute in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Adjunct Clinical Respiratory Therapy Instructor to support the respiratory therapy program. The instructor will supervise students in clinical settings, review documentation, and maintain open communication with students and staff.

Teaching experience is not required; training is provided. The position emphasizes mentoring students to develop employable skills aligned with employer expectations.

Qualifications

• Active RRT with current Pennsylvania license (RCP) and RRT certification.
• Minimum 3 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Associates degree from an accredited CoARC program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $40.00 To $45.00 Hourly

Lancaster, PA - Penn State Health Medical Center The Respiratory Therapy program is based out of our Altoona, PA campus. This position will assist with precepting students for the program in the Lancaster, PA area.

Clinical Instructorsprovide primary supervision of students during clinical activities. They must be a resource to students at all times, review all documentation and maintain two - way communications throughout the assigned shift with the student. Clinical Instructors must also utilize instructional methodology consistent with YTI Career Institute's learning model to the levels and needs of individual students that will ultimately cause students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation .

Position Requirements:
