Job summary

South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks adjunct or part-time faculty members in Chemistry for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, paid per credit hour. Courses include Lab and Non-Lab Chemistry, with a Master’s in Chemistry and laboratory instructional experience required.

Qualifications

• Support students in and out of the classroom, including directing them to campus services and resources.

Adjunct faculty salary for the 2026-2027 fiscal year is $1,165.00- $1,189.00 per credit hour, as listed in the CBA (Download PDF reader) (Download PDF reader).

Minimum Qualification

• Master's degree in Chemistry or a related area from an accredited college or university, and
• Experience with laboratory instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with learning management systems and online teaching.
