Job summary

Grand Canyon University Inc. seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Calculus for Science and Engineering II at the Phoenix campus for Spring 2027. Instruction will cover integral, multivariable, and vector calculus with real‑world applications.

Preference is given to candidates with a Doctorate; minimum Master’s in Mathematics, Physics, EE, or ME. Course begins January 4, 2027 and ends April 25, 2027. The position offers part‑time, in‑person teaching with smaller class sizes and opportunities

Qualifications

• Preference given to individuals with a Doctorate
• Minimum: Master’s in Mathematics or Master’s in Physics or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
