Qualifications

• PhD in bioinformatics, biology, or a closely related field.

• Proven platform skills and openness to coaching from faculty lead.
• Prior experience in a diverse higher education institution preferred.
• Knowledge of Python and/or R programming languages strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Review and learn key teaching points within existing instructor guides.
• Prepare lectures based on course materials provided to ensure high-quality teaching.
• Facilitate rich discussions in in-person or online classes.
• Provide timely review and grading of assignments with coaching feedback.
• Consistently connect with students and monitor performance.
• Contribute to curriculum development efforts for the program.
• Adhere to Northeastern’s policies.
