Job summary

BHCC is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach for the Audio Recording and Music Technology classes listed below at BHCC and partner facilities. Courses include MUS-175: Audio Recording I in the evening at 960 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, MA, with class times from 6-8:45 PM.

Also teaching MUS-171: Introduction to Music Technology at the Charlestown Campus (250 New Rutherford Ave). There is potential to teach MUS-177 and MUS-275 in future semesters, depending on needs and schedules.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in music, or bachelor's degree in music plus documented comparable experience.
• Teaching experience in music.
• Demonstrated experience at the professional level as an engineer or producer in a recording studio environment.
• Demonstrated fluency with Avid Pro Tools.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
• Preferred: professional live sound technician experience.
• Preferred: college teaching experience.
