Qualifications

• Master's degree in music or bachelor's degree in music plus documented comparable experience.
• Teaching experience in music.
• Demonstrated fluency with Avid Pro Tools.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach MUS 175 Audio Recording I, MUS 171 Introduction to Music Technology, MUS 177 Live Sound and MUS 275 Audio Recording II as offered.
• Conduct classes at BHCC and The Record Co facilities; manage studio-based instruction.
• Prepare course materials, assessments, and provide feedback to students.
• Engage in service with the Music Department and participate in cross-campus collaboration.

Education

Master's degree in Music

Bachelor's degree in Music with relevant experience

Teaching experience in music
