Job summary

Master's degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, or a related field with at least 12 GSH in the qualifying subjects.
Minimum of 6 credits must be from Sociology, Anthropology, or Cultural Studies.
Commitment to excellence in teaching and service aligned with the community college mission.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in Anthropology and related social sciences to meet learning outcomes.
Collaborate on curriculum development and revision as needed.
Meet scheduled classes and maintain office hours for student support.
Assess student outcomes and provide regular feedback.
Advise students and refer to Academic Support and Student Services as needed.
Participate in faculty, college, district, and advisory meetings.
Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current in the field.
Support recruitment and retention initiatives for students.
