Columbus State Community College is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor in Anthropology to provide quality instruction and maintain a positive learning environment. The role emphasizes teaching, supporting, and evaluating students to ensure effective learning.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Anthropology or a related field. Teaching responsibilities will involve developing curricula, maintaining student records, and creating an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
The Adjunct – Anthropology position provides quality instruction and maintains a positive learning environment in the classroom, with a major emphasis on teaching, supporting, and evaluating students. The incumbent is responsible for instruction and monitoring teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the Department Chair or other leadership members.
This position may involve in‑person or online teaching modalities in a classroom environment.
Hourly rate: $55.88 per contact hour. A contact hour is defined as two class hours. The maximum is 12 contact hours per week. This is a part‑time position.
