Job summary

Midwestern University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty—Clinical Site Supervisor for the AGPCNP program. You will oversee clinical experiences, conduct site visits, and assess student performance within adolescent to older adult care.

Collaboration with preceptors and program leadership ensures safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care. The role demands current AGPCNP certification, an MSN or higher, and at least two years of NP practice in primary care.

Qualifications

• Earned graduate degree in nursing with AGNP focus.
• Current national AGPCNP certification and APRN license eligibility.
• Minimum two years clinical practice as NP in primary care.
• Ability to evaluate student performance and document evaluations promptly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled clinical site visits, in person or virtual.
• Evaluate student application of advanced assessment and care planning.
• Assess progress toward clinical competencies for AGPCNP students.
• Collaborate with preceptors to review strengths and needs.
• Provide timely feedback to strengthen clinical reasoning and professionalism.
• Review clinical documentation for completeness and alignment.
• Submit site visit reports and clinical evaluations on time.
• Identify concerns and communicate with program staff.
• Support remediation planning with faculty and leadership.
• Monitor clinical experiences for population focus and objectives.
• Contribute to course evaluation and quality improvement.
• Comply with confidentiality, supervision, and licensing rules.
