Job summary

The position involves feasibility studies, product development support, and collaboration with global R&D teams to translate concepts into scalable adhesive solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline (Polymer Science/Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry).
• Experience developing adhesive, polymer, coating, sealant, elastomer, or thermoplastic systems.
• Understanding of hotmelt PSA technology and TPEs (SIS/SBS/SEBS).
• Experience with natural rubber and polyolefin systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops products, materials, processes, technology modules within feasibility studies and projects.
• Contributes to basic knowledge and fundamental work.
• Performs experimental work and samples preparation; plans and executes trials.
• Coordinates and supervises pilot and production trials.
• Runs analytical equipment for sample characterization.
• Performs related duties as required.
• Consults on projects as participant and as Project Leader.
• Initiates and supports development projects.
• Documents and reports results in written and verbal form on an international scale.
• Contributes to patent applications and state-of-the-art analysis.
• Supports FTO analysis from a technological perspective.
• Creates and maintains internal/external networks; supports collaborations.
• Other duties as assigned.
