Job summary

Responsibilities include building blocks development, pilot/production trials, analytical characterization, and knowledge management. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemistry) required.
• Experience developing adhesive, polymer, coating, sealant, elastomer, or thermoplastic systems.
• Understanding of hotmelt PSA technology and thermoplastic elastomers (SIS, SBS, SEBS).
• Experience with natural rubber, polyolefin and specialty polymer systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops products, materials, processes and technology modules within feasibility studies and projects.
• Leads feasibility studies and supports product development programs.
• Coordinates and supervises pilot and production trials and runs analytical characterisation.
• Contributes to patent applications and state-of-the-art analyses; supports IP activities.
• Creates internal and external networks related to technological developments.
