Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Georgia is seeking a capable team member to fill in during absences and train others. You will perform deboning-related tasks, maintain sanitary work areas, and ensure compliance with company policies and animal welfare guidelines.

This role requires the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts, lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, and operate in a cold, noisy production environment.

• Maintains clean and sanitary work area around assigned line
• Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Basic math skills

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand up to 8 hours
• Lift up to 60 lbs
• Work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
• Will be exposed to noise of > 85 decibels, CO2 and moving production equipment
• Ability to lift 10 lbs repeatedly and climb steps
• Ability to frequently kneel, crawl, stoop, and bend
• Work around raw, live animal odors
