Job summary

ADDMAN is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician to join a skilled team focused on advancing additive processes. You will set up, operate, clean, and maintain printers, ensuring highUtilization and minimal contamination while following strict safety standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with precision measurement tools, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and can read production data, manage material inventories, and support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years in a precision CNC machining, additive, or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous aerospace quality experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing / CNC machining processes.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate and perform daily as well as preventative maintenance on additive manufacturing machines.
  • Strictly adheres to proper use of PPE.
  • Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, dial indicators, scales).
  • Change equipment for different materials and calibration.
  • Adhere to ISO9001 and internal quality standards.
  • Proper disposal of hazardous waste.
  • Read and record production data (manufacture date, serial number, etc.).
  • Handle inventory and meet internal MOQs for materials.
  • Prepare MJF build units and maintain scheduling.
  • Vapor smoothing setups and fixturing for smoothing.
  • Keep work area clean and safe; participate in housekeeping.
  • Familiar with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an Additive Manufacturing Technician. In this role you will setup, operate, clean, and maintain additive machines to assure efficient operations, prevent contamination and achieve high utilization. At ADDMAN you'll be part of a skilled and growing team pushing the limits of additive manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Setup, operate and perform daily as well as preventative maintenance on additive manufacturing machines.
  • Strictly adheres to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments i.e. calipers, micrometers, gage pins height gages, dial indicators and precision scales.
  • Changing out equipment to different materials and calibration of equipment
  • Adhering to the ISO9001 standard and complying with internal quality standards
  • Proper disposal of hazardous waste
  • Ability to accurately read and record information (i. e. material manufacture date, serial number, and other criteria) that is critical to the production process.
  • Handling inventory and keeping up with internal MOQ's for frequently used materials
  • Part breakouts as related to MJF build units and adherence to tight scheduling
  • Vapor smoothing setups and how to operate the equipment as well as fixturing parts for smoothing
  • Perform housekeeping and cleanup duties upon completion of assigned tasks. Actively participate in housekeeping efforts by maintaining an orderly, clean, and safe work area
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Requirements
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. citizen status.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to exceed customer expectations
  • Works independently, strong work ethic, is self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams to support the core business, ensuring quality products are delivered on time
  • Computer aptitude (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and concepts
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-5 of working in a precision CNC machining, additive, or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous aerospace quality experience
  • Experience with manufacturing /CNC machining processes
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops, and other mandatory safety equipment.
  • For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms (including above shoulder height and below the waist); climb/balance; stoop, kneel, crouch/bend, or crawl; talk or hear; and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability and comfortability to work in small confine spaces while following proper safety protocol.
  • Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
