Job summary

Fathom Mfg in Hartland, WI, is seeking an Additive Quality Technician to perform final quality checks on parts exiting the additive department. You will conduct dimensional and visual inspections, ensure work orders meet specifications, and help verify materials and machine scales.

You will maintain logs and assist with on-floor quality issues in a fast-paced setting. The role requires an associate degree or technical certification, 1-2 years of related experience, and proficiency with MS Office

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field.
• 1-2 years related work experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office & Adobe.
• General knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks or Magics).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with metric and imperial measurement systems.
• Proficiency with measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• CMM / PCMM knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and discretion with information.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Additive Quality Technician Position Summary:

The Additive Quality Technician will be responsible for the final quality check of parts leaving the additive department. The technician will perform final dimensional and visualinspectionsand record the resultsinthe project folder.The technician will also ensure thatthe routing is complete andthatparts meet the specifications called out on the work order. The technician will periodically test material to ensure it meets certain requirementsand assist withmachine scale verification.

Additive Quality Technician Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet requirements.
• Visually inspect parts to ensure they meet customer requirements and have no defects.
• Assistwith machine calibration measurements.
• Supports testing to evaluate material properties.
• Keepproper logs of measurements and data taken.
• Supportoperators on the floor with quality-related issues.
• Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately completes all required documentation.
• Meets attendance policy requirements.
• Communicateandcollaboratewith team membersto shareinformation andsolvetechnical issues.

Additive Quality Technician Qualifications/Requirements:

• Associate degree in a relevant field and/or other technical certification a plus.
• 1-2 yearsofrelated work experience.
• Experience with MS Office & Adobe
• General knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks or Magics) is a plus
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings
• Familiarity with both metric and imperial until systems
• Working knowledge and application of measuring tools/equipment (e.g. caliper, micrometer)
• Working knowledge of inspection equipment required
• CMM / PCMM Operations or knowledge is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Able to manage sensitive and confidential information
• Must read and write English
