We have an outstanding Contract position for an
Additive Manufacturing Production Technician to join a leading Company located in the
Daytona Beach, FL surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**The Additive Manufacturing Technician is a dynamic position whose function is to support the 3D printing process for : rapid prototyping, production parts and tooling. Working within the Aerospace and Defense markets, the company is dedicated to taking a customer's concept and turning it into a reality through the rapid production of one-off prototypes and mass production of customized components.
Job Responsibilities: - Removing support structures.
- Performing secondary finishing operations such as polishing, reaming and straightening.
- Prepping machines for operation.
- Material changeovers.
- 3D Printer operation and day-to-day maintenance.
- Parts removal and cleanup.
- Maintain the schedule for multiple printers and builds.
- Other duties as required to maintain the business continuity.
Basic Hiring Criteria:- High School Diploma or Equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Some level of experience working with your hand s. Uses some basic tools(Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges).
- Experience with 3D Metal Printers such as EOS, Phenix/3DS, Concept Laser or SLM.
- Metal finishing techniques.
- CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming.
- Understanding of materials, properties, laser welding.
- Experience with Aerospace and/or Defense industries.
- Self-motivated and able to stay on task.
- Previous Manufacturing Experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge and navigation of MSOffice (Excel/Word).
