Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Additive Manufacturing Engineering Lab is seeking an experienced leader to guide a high-performing engineering team. The role focuses on transitioning emerging AM materials and processes into production-ready, certifiable platforms for aerospace applications.
You will oversee two AM labs, drive cross-disciplinary collaboration, manage staffing and budgets, and provide engineering support to aero programs and external customers.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
