Job summary

Lincotek Medical is seeking an Additive Manufacturing (AM) Engineer to ensure robust production from a technical, cost, quality, and schedule perspective. You will implement continuous improvements and lead cross-functional teams on coatings, materials, and assembly applications.

You will develop processes from customer requirements, qualify new products from kick-off to release, support cost quotes and feasibility studies, and collaborate with the Technical Leader to improve existing processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Solid Works and Minitab; ability to learn new AM software.
• Six Sigma or Green Belt certification desirable; knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Experience interacting with customers and technical managers; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead technical reference for materials, coatings, and assembly applications.
• Read and analyze customer specifications; manage qualification kick-off meetings and drive actions to complete projects on time and budget.
• Develop processes based on customer requirements; create/build programs and qualify new products from kick-off to full release.
• Support production cost quotations and Feasibility studies; lead projects to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Coordinate with Quality and Lean/Six Sigma to improve KPI across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
