Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• 2–5 years of hands-on mechanical design experience, focusing on mechanism design.
• Proficient in Creo and Windchill for 3D CAD, drawings, and PLM workflows.
• Experience with FEA, GD&T, and other simulation tools.
• Experience with part processing, metal cutting, CNC programming, and machine setup.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test AM equipment and components.
• Create CAD models and drawings; develop test benches and plans.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective with manufacturing teams.
• Perform time estimates for components and parameter optimization.
• Apply statistical methods for reliability and process control.
• Generate technical reports and engineering documentation.
• Communicate with internal staff, customers, and suppliers.
