Job summary

Caron Treatment Centers in Pennsylvania is seeking an Addictions Therapist for full-time residential programs. The role coordinates patient care, integrates family sessions, and aligns with school expectations and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree with practicum or clinical experience in health or human services.
• Preferred specialty training (MI, DBT, MBSR, CPT, CBT, EMDR, Trauma and Rainbow Advocacy).
• Experience with lifespan developmental issues for the target populations.
• Experience in facilitating group therapy preferred.
• Valid PA driver’s license and compliance with ACT 33 for youth populations, when applicable.
• If in recovery, two years of uninterrupted sobriety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees coordination of patient care in residential services, including family sessions and school expectations.
• Completes initial psychosocial assessments and gathers patient goals.
• Utilizes the multidisciplinary team to determine appropriate level of care and identify needs.
• Facilitates group therapy and individual counseling.
• Develops a comprehensive continuing care plan with input from clinical referents and family.
• Documents treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the EHR.
