Job summary

Penn Medicine's HUP Cedar location is seeking a full-time Addictions Counselor to join the team. The schedule is four 10s (7am-5pm) Monday-Thursday, supporting patient care across the continuum.

You will provide clinical substance use services including individual and group counseling and case management to an assigned caseload, conduct biopsychosocial assessments and ASAM screenings, and ensure documentation meets program and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
• Education specialization: Psychology, Social Work, Social/Human Services, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year direct counseling experience with substance use populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling and case management to assigned caseload.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and ASAM screenings.
• Coordinate aftercare services and ensure accurate documentation.
