HealthPort in Salisbury, MD is seeking an Addiction Specialist to join the ACT Team on a full‑time basis. You will support adults with behavioral health and substance use challenges, delivering evidence‑based practices and personalized care planning within an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an Associate degree in a Human Services field, 2+ years of experience, CPR/First Aid, and a state driver’s license. 4‑day work week with 36 hours; salary range $40,000–$55,000 annually.

Formación

• Associate degree in a Human Services–related field is required and 2+ years of experience with chronically mentally ill individuals; CSC‑AD or CDC certification preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Valid full driver’s license with a safe driving record is required.
• Minimum 1–3 years of addictions counseling experience.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high‑quality services supporting HealthPort’s mission of community‑based care.
• Facilitate weekly group sessions.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and stages of change to promote recovery.
• Develop individualized recovery plans and document progress.
