Job summary

Centurion seeks an Addiction Recovery Specialist at Plainfield Correctional Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. The role focuses on delivering outpatient treatment, recovery education and group counseling to inmates as part of a comprehensive substance abuse program.

Bachelor’s degree in human services is required, plus CADAC II+ or LAC/LAC-A certification or the ability to obtain within 24 months. Background checks and security clearance will apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services field required.
• CADAC II+ or LAC/LAC-A certification or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire.
• TB screening, CPR, First Aid, BLS and AED certifications required.
• Must pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services in a correctional setting.
• Deliver outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education and group counseling.
• Support patients through recovery plans and education initiatives.

Education
