Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an approved Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency.
• Minimum of three (3) years of medical experience or equivalent.
• Active license to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
• Knowledge of community mental health and substance use treatment programs, services, and best practices.
• Experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating medical and substance use disorders, including co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
• Ability to type a minimum of 27 WPM and achieve at least 65% on the general assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely patient evaluations and assessments
• Provide medication management in accordance with current clinical standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support recovery and wellness
• Provide consultation, training, and clinical guidance to staff and providers
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in chart reviews, case consultations, and clinical staffing
• Support program goals while maintaining quality patient outcomes

Education
