NOVA Behavioral Health, Inc. in Dayton, OH seeks a physician specializing in addiction medicine to guide medical care for patients entering treatment. You will design treatment plans, integrate medical and psychosocial support, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

We welcome board-certified physicians with MAT experience who can provide compassionate, evidence-based care and mentor staff in complex medical needs related to detox and ongoing addiction treatment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, or Family/Internal Medicine with addiction training.
• Current state medical license and DEA registration.
• Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and evidence-based addiction care.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for patients entering treatment, ensuring quality of care for medically complex patients.
• Prescribe and manage MAT such as buprenorphine, methadone, or naltrexone.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Educate and oversee medical staff on complex medical needs in addiction services including detox.
